The breakfast and the size of the room were excellent.

Greetings fellow travellers, We had a rather pleasant stay at the Bristol. The location was decent, but you probably will require an Uber to get out of the local area. There are several supermarkets that are close by, our favourite was EPA which had a large range of goods. The room was spacious and clean, with a wardrobe to hang your clothes. There was also a safe that we didn't use., the shower powerful with decent pressure and temperature. Though if you have longer hair it might take you a while to wash it thoroughly. Breakfast had a good variety and a nice way to start the day. Eggs were soft and delicious, as was the fruit options. There was also a bread and cheese selection. WiFi was good and the signal never dropped. If you're up for a walk, you can visit a beautiful lake that's around a 40 minutes walk away. There will be a refreshing coconut waiting for you from several vendors. If you're a gringo don't pay more than 8 reais. The staff were friendly. I would recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay in Pampulha. We did get this with around a 40% discount. I'm not sure if I would pay full price.
